BL-110 is a light for everyday use. it consists of a PVC curved tube available in any hardware store and two custom-designed plastic parts: one secures the bulb and diffuses light with a funnel shape, while the other holds the cable and provides a stable base for the lamp.
the lamp was created after a spontaneous visit to the hardware store. on the BL-110 nothing is glued, screwed or the like. all connections are solved by fits. this means that the PVC pipe can be returned to the cycle at any time.
i see this work as the beginning of a series focusing o product design with conventional materials, creating accessible furniture and lighting from existing resources.
