a rollator is a walking aid for people with walking difficulties and is used mainly by elderly people. however, some problems arise. people find it difficult to accept that they are getting older and they feel uncomfortable with a classic rollator. that's why it was important for me, to design a rollator that meets the ergonomic requirements and at the same time does not reflect the classic image of an old, weak person. this creates a product that people want to use and feel joy and belonging.
aluminum tubular frame with stainless steel axles and a fabric bag.
the fabric bag offers storage space.
u-shaped handle bar. the rollator can be flexibly gripped and pulled.
the steering axle is made of bent stainless steel. it is attached via a die-cast aluminum part that is fixed in the aluminum frame.
the fabric bag is attached to the frame with loops on both sides and one on the back. these hold with the help of snaps. this makes the bags interchangeable and therefore easier to clean.
the rear axle of the rollator can be turned slightly forward. this makes the rear axle parallel to the front frame and the rollator thus runs on only two tires. convenient if the rollator is only used as a simple shopping trolley. but this also ensures a smaller footprint when it is not used.
